ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in our finance department for a Group Finance Assistant. As part of the finance team, you will be responsible for making the monthly payments in a timely manner, calculating tax and national insurance deductions, setting up new members of staff, dealing with timesheets entries, expenses schedules, calculating overtime, issuing tax forms (P45s for example) and managing special situations like maternity or sickness pay.
You will also be dealing with subcontractor payment runs and day to day finance duties such as sales invoice, purchase invoices, bank receipts, orders and delivery notes and statements for Alandale Group. The role may require the post holder to provide support to other Companies within the Alandale Group as and when required. Good working knowledge of Payroll Sage, booking keeping and excel is essential to the role.
This role would suit someone with previous experience as a finance assistant but who is looking to expand this experience in a dynamic environment.
