Finance Manager
Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to work at one sites in Hull. This is a Permanent Position and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible
Responsibilities
- To maintain and monitor the integrity of the Company Accounts including VAT, PAYE, sub-contractor and nominal ledger records for the Group, credit control and the management of Company Funds.
Principal Elements:
1 - Must hold a bookkeeping qualification or AAT. Experience in the construction industry is essential.
2 - Must have Sage 50 experience
3 - To ensure annual accounts are audited on a timely basis.
4 - To maintain and reconcile the VAT records of the company to ensure that compliance with all current VAT legislation is achieved. Also, to ensure that quarterly VAT returns are prepared and submitted to HMRC on time.
5 - To review and reconcile the PAYE and NIC records of the company and to prepare the monthly and annual returns to the Inland Revenue.
6 - To ensure that all payments are processed in accordance with the QS/Contracts Managers instructions and in accordance with current legislation.
7 - To ensure that the integrity of the nominal ledger of the company is maintained, ensuring that audit trails and key nominal ledger control account reconciliations are being performed.
8 - To be responsible for all staff within the account and administrative sections.
9 - To be responsible for the health and safety of personnel working within the Head Office location.
10 - Collate Management Account reports, Cashflows etc.
Requirements

The rate of pay is £30k- £35k per year
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30AM to 5PM
