Accounts Assistant | Birmingham | up to £28k
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a reputable and fast growing professional business based in Birmingham. You will be joining a company that can offer lots of training and development within an ever expanding organisation. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for a range of finance duties, including sales ledger and purchase ledger.
Responsibilities:
General bookkeeping
Customer invoice processing as well as looking after debtor reports
Processing supplier invoices and generating payment runs
Bank reconciliations on both sides of the ledgers
Basic trial balance reconciliations
VAT returns
Payroll and pension filings in line with HMRC
Dealing with clients regarding any queries
Maintaining accurate records of time and tasks worked for each client.
Ideal candidate:
Previous experience working as a Bookkeeper
Strong Xero and QuickBooks experience
Strong communication skills.
Problem solving skills
Able to work within a close knit environment
