The role:
· To accurately input all sales orders into Sage daily before the deadline.
· To identify any customer order queries and ensure these are resolved by Customer service in a timely manner.
· Consult with Materials control on special requirement orders to ensure materials are available for order due dates
· Consult with production planning to ensure production capacity is available for order due dates
· To consult with finance to ensure customers are not on stop before processing orders
· Consult with transport to ensure capacity for required due dates.
· To raise accurate quotations and proformas where necessary
· Accurate pricing and price reconciliation
Skills/experience required:
· Computer literate and numerate
· Experience of data entry/processing
· Experience of working with ERP systems, ideally Sage
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
· Articulate, high attention to detail
· Good communicator
· Initiative-taking with positive attitude
· Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
