Senior Payroll Administrator - Vacancy - based in Coventry
Job Purpose:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join our Group Payroll Team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Group Payroll Manager, you will undertake a wide range of tasks involved in running payroll
-
Ensure all allocated payrolls are produced in accordance with agreed procedures and performance indicators
-
Collect and collate authorised data from employees relating to payroll processing, data inputting and maintenance
-
Processing calculations for employee payments including occupational and statutory sick pay, maternity pay and any other deductions in line with the appropriate legislation
Person Specification:
-
The ideal candidate will have payroll processing experience
-
Experience CIPP qualified Payroll Administrator
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills and a collaborative team worker is essential
-
Previous experience of working within a large customer focused service organisation
-
Detailed knowledge of regulations governing payroll administration, including NMW,
-
Experience in all payrolls administrative tasks including thorough working knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, SSP, SMP, SAP
-
You will have experience of performing manual calculations and understand benefit taxation
-
Process oriented with the ability to see a task through to completion
-
Strong organisation skills to plan and prioritise your workload to meet tight timelines
-
A team player who works effectively with others
