Role
The role involves day-to-day contract management, focusing on relationship building, client care, people management, and contract delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
People Management:

Conduct regular 1-2-1s with staff.

Manage employee relations with HR support.
-
Adhere to HR policies and processes.
-
Monitor attendance and process timesheets.
Client Relationship:
Operational Management:

Schedule work and coordinate resources.

Ensure tools and machinery are prepared and safely maintained.

Monitor work progress and performance, addressing issues promptly.

Order necessary parts, materials, and PPE timely.

Conduct quality inspections and supervise weekend shifts.
Health & Safety:

Ensure team and site safety.

Maintain machinery and equipment.

Enforce professional behaviour and cleanliness.
Skills/Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of grounds maintenance and leadership qualities.

Effective communication skills for liaising with all management levels.

Ability to challenge ideas appropriately and guide horticultural practices.

Ideally qualified to IOSH level.
Additional Duties:

Monitor team absences and holidays.

Complete monthly timesheets for accurate payment processing.

Communicate best practices and share knowledge across the group.
