Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.
We are recruiting for an experienced Business Administrator to work on a full time, permanent basis covering Monday - Friday based at our offices in Edlington, Doncaster, DN12.
The role will provide a full support service to Polypipe Building Product’s Senior Leadership Team, including general administration, co-ordinating diaries and assisting with the planning of corporate hospitality events.
Key Responsibilities:

General administrative duties including actioning and managing telephone calls, dealing with queries, escalating issues accordingly, filing, system data entry, accurate record keeping and raising and receipting purchase orders.

Inputting date on the Industrial and Financial System (IFS)

Assisting with audit requirements

Assisting with the coordination of celebratory events

Room bookings
-
Preparing and circulating management briefings
-
Scheduling appointments
-
Note taking at meetings

Liasing with external providers to arrange corporate events

Overseeing sponsorship arrangements and charitable donations

Arranging travel and accommodation for members of the Senior Leadership Team

Create powerpoint presentations
-
Greet and provide support for visitors

Develop, implement and improve office policies and procedures
Skills & Requirements:
-
Previous experience of working in an administrative support function alongside senior personnel

Excellent teamworking skills with the ability to work on own initiative and take decisive action

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels in the business

Computer literate in MS office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and diary management

Working knowledge of IFS or similar software

The ability to plan workload effectively and prioritise a heavy workload
