Key Account Manager : Full time / Office only
Reports to Operational Services Director
Job summary / what will you do?
As a Key Account Manager at Armstrong Logistics you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients. You’ll work closely with high value customers as the main point of contact, understanding their needs, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring client satisfaction.
This role is a people manager position, and you will also be responsible for the management of the customer service team and collaborating with them to deliver tailored solutions to support the unique needs of clients.
Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients

Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts

Addressing and resolving client’s complaints and conducting investigation if needed

Communicating and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the clients needs are met

Reporting on account progress and providing forecasts for both the client and internal stakeholders

Working closely with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for key clients

Presenting reviews and reports to director level staff both internally and externally

People management of the customer service team
Requirements

Minimum 3 years customer service or account management experience

Experienced line manager with ability to handle team leadership and supervision, delegation of tasks and performance management

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills

Confident presentation skills

High level organisational skills and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think independently

Proficient in MS Office and Teams
