Responsible for drafting and delivering a sales strategy for the business

Respond to tenders in a timely manner

Preparing quotations and tenders

Attending meetings with potential and existing clients

Co-ordinating marketing activities for the business

Responsible for meeting sales targets

Review current business practice and implement streamlining and procedural advancement

Review current product offering and adjust to give the best USP and business fit
New Business Development

Develop new business contacts through a variety of different sales methods and turn this into increased business

Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and utilising your network

Identify potential clients and the decision makers within new business prospects
-
Build relationships with new clients

Plan approaches and pitches by working with the team to develop proposals that meet client’s need, concerns and objectives
Business Development Planning

Attend industry seminars as required, such as association events and conferences and provide feedback and information on marketing trends and new technologies or legislation.

Present to and consult Operations Director on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, or opportunities

Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales

Undertake competitor analysis

Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Management and Research
-
Submit weekly progress reports to the Operations Directors and physically present monthly updates at Aftersales Operations meeting
-
Ensure all data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system

Track and record sales activity on accounts
-
Work with internal staff to ensure that pre-requisites are fulfilled within a timely manner
