Job Title: Site/Project Manager

Salary: £60,000 per annum + Company Car + Bonus

We are dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and are looking for a talented and experienced Site/Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Plymouth.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of assigned civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Site Supervision: Direct and supervise on-site activities, including drainage, highways, roads, sewage systems, pump stations, and multi-utility services for new build housing projects.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, subcontractors, and laborers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Health & Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations and best practices are strictly adhered to on-site. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Quality Control: Maintain stringent quality control procedures to ensure all work meets the specified standards and client requirements.

Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimize project delivery.

Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.

Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the course of the project, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and budgets.

Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, and risk assessments to senior management.
Key Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Site/Project Manager with a focus on civil engineering projects, particularly in drainage, highways, roads, sewage, pump stations, and multi-utility services for new build housing.

Qualifications: Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Professional membership of ICE or equivalent is desirable.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry regulations. Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to develop innovative solutions.

Driving License: Full UK driving license required, as travel to various sites will be necessary.
