Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced HR professional to join their HR Team to provide support to the wider HR team in their new offices in central Crawley
The Role:
This role is a busy and varied HR Officer role where you will be responsible for:
Assisting with the recruitment, onboarding and retention process
Collating and processing all relevant paperwork for vacancies
Completing all pre-employment checks e.g. DBS, health clearance, references, work permits, right to work
Supporting the HR Director and HR Manager with administration and the recording and collating all training information.
Coordinating the induction of all new staff including scheduling inductions, sending out new starter information and scheduling induction plans with managers
Updating internal HR online databases with accurate information and to upload all new starters accurately
Assist and support the HR Director and HR Manager with advice and guiding line managers with the management of employee relations issues including attendance, performance management, disciplinary matters and grievances. This includes the provision of appropriate, timely and effective advice and support to team leaders throughout formal investigations and at formal meetings.
Provided guidance and support with employee relations, recruitment, TUPE, equality and diversity, and reward and change management
Attending various meetings in sites across the South and taking notesSkills Required:
Previous experience within an HR support role
Experience of writing letters and meeting notes
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
A confident and empathetic approach to work
Hours & Benefits:
Hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
