Our dedicated adult services team is recruiting for a Locality Manager to join the team on a full time basis in Dorchester. The person in post will be allocated as the nominated individual as definied by CQC so expertise in regulations, safeguarding and best practice will be key.
A day in the life of a Locality Manager would include:

Supporting the adult services managers with any operational challenges

Ensuring managers have all necessary tools, information and training that is needed

Implementing and maintaining robust quality assurance systems

Leading preparation for all CQC inspections, ensuring all services maintain a 'Good' or better CQC rating

Providing CQC training to staff so that all staff can support and meeting requirements

Assume the responsibility as nominated individual for all adult services provisions

Completing regular audits and reports as part of the service action plan

Reviewing and developing comprehensive safeguarding policies and procedures

Collaborating with the Adult Services Director to deliver the strategy

Supporting with budget planning and forecasting
