Association Manager (Scheme Manager)
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £25-£30 per hour
Duration: Temporary (6 months)
Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a sheltered housing association with their recruitment of an Association manager (Scheme Manager), to take responsibility of the day day running of 4 schemes.
The ideal candidae will have experience of managing in a similar role and of working with elderly/ vulnerable clients.
What will you do in the role?

Maintain the Association’s compliance with statutory requirements, such as health and safety, fire regulations, employment regulations.

Overall responsibility for all staff, Scheme Managers and Admin Assistant

To promote a caring environment for tenants and staff through high standards of professional practice

In consultation with Scheme Managers, ensure that the daily needs of the tenants are met and encourage activities, for tenants, that will enhance their quality of life. Identify areas of improvement to ensure the building fabric and services are maintained to a good standard
Who would excel in this role?

Experience of managing managers in a sheltered housing setting

Experience of managing & setting budgets

Experience of procurement and of managing contractors

Understanding legislation and regulations relating to social housing and identifying risks of non-compliance
