We have an opportunity for the next key player in our Development Team, delivering great quality affordable homes as part of our development programme across our operational area which includes Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire
You will need to be a self motivated, professional and an experienced housing project manager, able to work and communicate effectively with a range of consultants, contractors and stakeholders to successfully deliver our diverse pipeline of schemes.
The role requires strong, confident leadership qualities with excellent people skills to successfully deliver projects from inception through to completion, ensuring schemes are delivered on time, in budget, whilst meeting our demanding quality standards.
Attention to detail and accountability are fundamental abilities together with experience and judgement to manage and negotiate contracts successfully on site, right through to handover to the business and our customers.
What you will be doing:

Delivering Land Led and S106 affordable housing projects across our geographical operational area

Be accountable for cost, programme, quality, managing risks and health & safety

Ensuring Homes England grant information is accurate, maintaining filing in readiness for Homes England audits where grant is awarded

Complying with contractual requirements and processing transactions whilst adhering to governance and financial regulations

Providing accurate and timely financial information and updating Sequel financial software monthly

Collating information including warranties, certificates, insurances and other post handover documents to ensure the effective future management of our homes

Working collaboratively with other teams in the directorate to ensure we meet our strategic delivery of homes targets.
We’d love to meet someone with:

Experience of managing the delivery of s106 and Land Led affordable housing projects.

Enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering quality affordable housing
-
Ability to manage a team of project consultants.

Self motivated with proven ability to meet deadlines and manage own workload. Knowledge of Homes England funding requirements and working knowledge of housing procurement.

Excellent IT skills, and experience of using appraisal software and databases.

Great attention to detail, ensuring all warranties, insurance cover, payment certificates, valuations etc are in place, signed, dated and engrossed as required.
