We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our client on a perm full time role
Role & Responsibilities

Execute the below duties under the supervision and support of operational and commercial staff.

Assist Project Managers with general project administration

Production and reviews of HSE documentation / procedures

Undertake procurement activities
-
Assist with quality assurance documentation production and completion
-
Update key construction documentation in co-ordination with project teams i.e programmes and working drawings
-
Assist Commercial & Quantity Surveying staff with account administration
-
Payroll administration
-
General electronic filing and collation of site documentation.
-
Attend meetings and liaise with internal and external personnel where necessary – On Site & Client Premises

Administration / management of Sub-Contractors
-
Training and support provided to assist in further development, anticipated progression to a senior role within business. Either commercial or operational development opportunities

Reporting to the department Director Key Skills and Qualifications:
-
A good understanding of electrical systems is preferred but not essential
-
Relevant Qualification, Degree, HNC, or NVQ in a construction-based subject.

Full UK Driving Licence

Strong IT skills, confident in the use of MS Office in particular Excel
-
Communication skills and team working attitude
-
Good time management skills with flexibility to travel for work if required.
