BAM FM is recruiting a Mobilisation Manager to support the Operational teams on the award of new contracts and Re- Mobilisation\Demobilisation of existing contracts. This will be achieved through working closely with the Bid Team at tender stage, leading the mobilisation phase, seamlessly handing over the project to the operations lead and supporting the operations team during the transition through to steady state.
The position will involve a mixture of working from home, on site and working out of any UK&I regional office location. Travel will be required for this role across the UK. BAM operates a flexible working policy.
Your mission
The key objective of this role is to ensure a smooth mobilisation of contracts, good relations with the client and ensuring all actions are completed and fully handed over to the operations team. The successful applicant will work closely with both Account Management and Operations to ensure client expectations are achieved whilst ensuring both the Client and Company are Legislatively Compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the successful transition of newly awarded contracts through utilising extensive mobilisation experience and working closely with the contracts and operational teams at all stages.
• Lead the mobilisation phase, identify actions derived from the contract award and allocate to appropriate persons to close out in required timescales, seamlessly handing over the contract to the operational managers and supporting them during the transition through to steady state.
• Act as the point of continuity for mobilisation and service transition management across all newly awarded contracts.
• Mobilise, remobilise and demobilise contracts.
• Engage with key stakeholders and act as the conduit to ensure all mobilisation actions are completed in the agreed timeframes.
•Responsible for management of the mobilisation budget, ensuring each mobilisation is successfully delivered within the budget constraints.
• Co-ordinate the relevant business support departments at various stages throughout the process.
• Liaising with subcontractors to ensure all actions are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.
• Conduct TUPE consultations in conjunction with HR and Operational Management teams.
• Chair weekly meetings/conference calls with the operations team and client to update on the contract mobilisation progression, sharing the updated mobilisation plan.
• Ensure all sites have compliant company documentation from day one.
• Complete admin tasks, including but not limited to : compiling asset registers, printing H&S documentation where needed, ordering and setting sites up with IT requirements.
• Provide assistance and liaise with other stakeholders in the delivery of training to sites on business processes and procedures.
• Review tender/contract scope of works.
• Highlight any issues or risks which may impact the successful delivery of the project, ensuring business continuity during transition.
• Supporting at presentations and contribute to bid proposals.
• To inspect the condition of services on the contract awarded site(s) and manage the reporting within contract allotted timeframes in terms of:
• Condition report of plant, equipment and sub-contracted services.
• Asset Verification.
• Standard Operating Procedures.
• Single Point of Failures (SPOF).
• Energy assessment and reporting.
Who are we looking for?
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the successful mobilisation of contracts, within a Compliance/Facilities Management environment or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential along with the ability to interpret and
analyse vast amounts of data. Ability to produce progress reports, charts and financial spreadsheets as required.
• Comfortable with manipulating and interrogating large data sets.
• Understand KPI reporting.
• Understand and able to influential communicator at all levels Operator to Director
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills (English, grammar)
• Effective time management able to prioritise.
• Leadership; Management/Deputy experience.
• Commercial awareness.
• Experience of CAFM systems, ideally Concept.
