IT Category Manager
As a IT Category Manager, you thrive on being a business partner / trusted advisor to the CIO, driving IT Category development and projects.
The IT Category Manager will support the CIO in addressing all IT spend across all business units, including moving beyond corporate overhead costs and into bid support encompassing IT Hardware, Services and Software Development.

As our next IT Category Manager, you will manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle management, including market / spend analysis, sourcing, due diligence / onboarding, performance and relationship management.
The Key Requirements...
- Several years' experience in Procurement / Supply Chain roles.
- Experience of working in IT category (BPO).
- Able to manage the varied demands of a complex and high-profile stakeholder community, often working to short timescales and able to demonstrate
- Able to develop tools and tactics at an operational level that will contribute to strategic goals.
- Experienced in supplier management and development activities driving supplier performance.
- Strong contract negotiation and wider commercial agreement experience as well as wider business acumen.
- Experience of building category strategies in conjunction with stakeholders that support business and commercial objectives.
- MCIPS, MCILT, IoSCM or IACCM qualification (Desirable)

The IT Category Manager will be joining a small but specialised team who manage all elements of Roke's indirect spend for all sites.
Where you'll work...
ROMSEY - Alongside hybrid and flexible working options, you'll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.
