A fast-growing technology company dedicated to unlocking the full potential of batteries with intelligent software for all vehicle and battery manufacturers worldwide is currently looking to hire a BMS Test & Validation Engineer. The successful candidate will coordinate, develop and execute testing in a range of environments, from cell & software level to vehicle level, presenting test results and insights to stakeholders to implement improvements.
The BMS Test & Validation Engineer will:
Execute HiL tests to validate BMS functionality and performance under various conditions.
Support cell data analysis to understand capacity, efficiency, thermal characteristics, and degradation mechanisms.
Develop comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough testing of BMS and related systems.
Manage and maintain development vehicles and HiL rigs used for BMS testing.
Perform cell characterization tests to determine the performance and behaviour of battery cells.
The BMS Test & Validation Engineer will have:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Experience of using Speedgoat/dSPACE hardware and toolchain.
Strong knowledge of battery systems, BMS, and HiL testing methodologies.
Experience in designing and implementing HIL test applications.
Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, writing test scripts, and generating test reports.
Experience of using Matlab Simulink toolchain.
