We are looking for a Finance Assistant to support our day-to-day transactions, including bank, rent, sales ledger transactions plus periodic insurance claims processing.
Job requirements:

processing daily bank transactions including housing benefits and Allpay.

processing customer rent transactions on a daily and weekly.

raising sales invoices on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

preparing monthly bank reconciliations for group companies.

preparing monthly sales ledger reconciliations for group companies.

preparing weekly cash receipts for bank lodgements.

processing insurance claims and prepare claims reconciliations.
What we’re looking for:

Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Sales Ledger Assistant or similar role for at least two years is essential.

Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.

Basic MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Open Accounts or similar accounting software is desirable).

Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.

Educated to a GCSE level and pursuing the AAT or similar qualification.

Good communication skills.

Understanding of what great customer service is.

Ability to work under pressure to monthly deadlines.
