Blue Water Recruitment are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to work for a Tier 1 Contractor based in Cardiff.
Job Responsibilities:

Process purchase invoices and book the associated GRN.

Supplier statement reconciliations
-
Supplier Payment Runs.

Record keeping for audit compliance ensuring documents are readily available and fully compliant.

Participating in the month end accounting and reporting routines.
-
Assist with Monthly Management Accounts.

New supplier set up and credit applications.
-
Prepare internal and external reports as required.
-
Set up and payment of sub-contractor ensuring CIS compliance.

Ad hoc duties on an as required basis

HMRC Returns
About You:
-
A relevant accounting qualification (AAT/ CA/ ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA) or equivalent
-
2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Previous construction industry experience.

Experience in using SAP R3
-
Excellent Organisational Skills
-
Experience of using accounting software packages.
