My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be part of the team on a £20 million Cat B fit-out project spanning four floors in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of the project, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring all activities are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure the team meets its objectives.

Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and contractors. Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding project progress, issues, and changes.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Control: Ensure that the project adheres to all quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance and workmanship.

Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Prepare financial reports and forecasts.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, reports, and correspondence. Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to on-site. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Contract Management: Oversee the procurement process, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier and contractor relationships.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Cat B fit-outs and large-scale commercial projects.

Valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS
