Must be experienced driving articulated trucks internationally – germany / France / Belgium / etc These will be wide loads – 3.05m. We do around 2 of these a month abroad.
Must have some experience with hiab or craneage – ALLMI card would be very much preferred.
Job description:
We require an internationally experienced articulated driver. Job roles will include driving machinery abroad, and within the UK. You will be taught the skills necessary to load and unload machinery to a professional standard, working with teams of like minded people to load and unload machinery on it has been delivered to site. Based in Guildford with a professional yard and specialist equipment.
Salary: £15.00 p/h - £17.25 p/h dependant on experience plus overtime.

You will also be required to work at various customer sites during employment throughout the UK and Internationally.

Working abroad: you will be required to travel outside of the UK for some work. Adequate notice will always be given.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day flexible start times (Usually 7am – 3pm). There are 260 working days in a year. Unsociable hours are classed as before 6am and after 6pm in the evening. Unsocialable hours will be paid at the overtime rate.

Overtime: There is usually a demand for overtime. Overtime is paid at your hourly plus a quarter. Saturdays and Sundays when available will be a minimum of £200.00 a day.

Absence – if you're absent from work for any reason you must inform management by telephone as soon as possible.
