As a Sales Administrator, you’ll play an active role in nurturing and contributing to these long-standing relationships.

What will your role as a Sales Administrator entail?
Generating quotes for existing and new clients as and when requested.
Using a CRM/ERP system – Openda to process and log all actions.
Keeping professional and supportive contact with clients, via emails and telephone calls.
Working towards customer satisfaction in all aspects of the job and supporting other sales team members, to ensure the customer can be prioritised well.
Processing administrative tasks for any tenders or bids, including uploading BOM’s into the CRM.
Support other teams within the company (purchasing, kitting, warehousing) to help relieve pressure and ensure that deadlines are met.
Meeting regularly with the purchasing team, making sure that supply can always meet demand and the customer is kept up to date with any changes or challenges.
Work closely with Business Development staff, supporting them in delivering on sales targets.
Processing invoices for services.
Developing an intimate knowledge of the products and services that you’ll be working with, to help with upselling and keeping options open for further sales opportunities.
What qualities will make you the perfect Sales Administrator?
Technical sales experience within engineering or electronics would be highly beneficial.
You must be comfortable on the phone and have a desire to make outbound calls to clients.
Experience in previous administration roles is needed. Sales experience would be ideal.
Confidence in communising with colleagues and partners internally and externally.
Skilful in the use of the full Microsoft Office package, Excel especially.
Any CRM/ERP exposure will be beneficial.
Target driven, keen to achieve highly while maintaining attention to detail.
Independent, able to manage one’s own workflow, balancing multiple tasks comfortably.
A forward thinking and proactive mindset, any demonstratable experience in streamlining or improving processes.
Being a true team player, happy to assist colleagues across the whole business.
Full UK driving license is mandatory.
