We seek a talented and motivated Sales Applications Engineer/Internal Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our cutting-edge engineering solutions and our clients' needs, which is crucial in driving our sales efforts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
Provide technical support to the sales team during client meetings and product demonstrations
Analyse customer requirements and propose tailored engineering solutions
Develop and present technical proposals and quotations
Collaborate with the engineering team to customise products for specific client needs
Conduct product training for clients and internal teams
Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings
What you will have:
3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a B2B technical sales environment
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their practical applications
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or MBA
Experience with Sage & Salesforce CRM systems
Knowledge of actuators, motors, and drives
Familiarity with project management methodologies
