Stage 1 Business Development Manager

Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd is a specialist Engineering, Manufacturing, and Scientific recruitment business that focuses upon the provision of permanent staff and contract resources to the UK and European Chemicals, Life Science, and Highly Regulated Industry sectors.
Your initial role will be that of an experienced Business Development Consultant maximising the opportunities within the businesses ‘Buying, Market and Working’ (BMW) platform. You will be responsible for developing our service offering within both new market clients and existing customer base in developing knowledge of our Manufacturing and Production offering. You will be responsible for reviewing our existing BMW platform to map out whom the decision makers are within those organisations, introducing our recruitment capability, and developing them from working clients into new buying customers. Your target will be to open these clients by gaining working roles and with the help of the Manufacturing and Production existing team Resourcers/Recruitment Consultants ultimately generating revenue from the placement of contract and permanent staff.
Once you have established yourself within the business, demonstrable by successfully developing five new buying customers, you will then progress onto the next stage by taking up full P&L and management responsibility for the department and its team.
Stage 2
Business Manager - Manufacturing and Production Division
Through a period of handover, the responsibility for the running of the division will transfer over to you.
Once transferred you will be given full P&L and management responsibility for the business and its people. With collaboration, you will establish a business plan for its growth. You will consider how to do that and structure it by managing existing buying and new customers in the development of its market share. You will enact your strategy in creating a closer relationship with them. You will also help in managing its people and work with them in growing their recruitment skills and knowledge base.
Your goal is the development and growth of the business's people and client relationships so to move these your client base towards greater exclusive arrangements.

Drive recruitment sales and business development into both with existing and new clients

Act as a subject matter expert

Mentor and lead junior recruitment consultants within the team

Provide a platform to grow our existing client base and develop key client relationships

Promote and demonstrate Adepto company values, Knowledge, Integrity, Commitment, Specialism, Experience, Credibility

Develop and manage an existing database of qualified candidates/clients

Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

Promote industry best practice in-line with internal / external quality, compliance and legislative procedures.

Devising a strategy and review our established buying customers, segmenting out the ones we deem most suitable to target, and then enacting the strategy in creating a closer relationship with them, ultimately developing them through a process of moving towards greater exclusive arrangements and ultimately RPO/MSP solutions
