Role: Commercial Sales Manager
Location: Central Scotland
Salary: To be discussed + bonus + car allowance
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales Manager to join our client's team in Glasgow. This is a newly created role designed to expand market presence and drive sales growth within the construction and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tender process, including the preparation, submission, and negotiation of tenders, bids and contracts as well as developing and maintaining strong client relationships with a focus on driving new business.
What will you be doing?
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow the business within the construction and industrial sectors.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving the expansion of our client base.
Lead the sales process from prospecting through to closing, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Manage the tender process, including the preparation, submission, and negotiation of bids.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of tender requirements and ensure all submissions meet specifications.
Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions
Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
What you need?
Prior experience dealing with tender submission and contracts is essential
Proven experience in a commercial sales role, with a focus on selling into construction and industrial companies.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
