We are currently recruiting for two positions on behalf of our client, a social landlord with a modern approach who are dedicated to the development of their clients and staff. For a Head of Property Service & Property Services Manager both roles will be based out of the organisations Bedfordshire Office.
Head of Property Services - Permanent (£60k + car allowance)
- Provide strategic, corporate, operational and professional business and commercial advice with regards to property services.
- As a member of the leadership team, to contribute to the development and improvement of all services to customers.
- Ownership, development and implementation of the Property Services Strategy; having overall responsibility for the general upkeep and maintenance of all properties, in line with our Asset Management and Compliance Strategies.
- Ensure that the Property Services department demonstrates a commitment to value for money, and the drive for continuous achievement of high-quality customer services in all that it does.
- Provide the overall strategic and operational direction for Property Services; leading the teams to deliver all repairs, voids, planned works, property lettings and compliance on time, to budget and to agreed quality and customer satisfaction – including disrepair cases.
- Requires a degree or professional qualification in a related subject and membership of a professional body e.g. CIOB, RICS.
Property Services Manager - Interim or Permanent (£45k + car allowance)
- Liaising with the Compliance Lead, our Health & Safety consultants and contractors to monitor and ensure periodic compliance and health and safety checks are undertaken for all properties in alignment with the compliance and health and safety frameworks
- Manage contractors that are employed to carry out compliance and planned activity
- Monitor contractor performance with the use of key performance indicators flag any performance or run rate issues to the Head of Property Services
- Being responsible for overseeing the compliance and planned programme management
- Requires a degree or professional qualification in a related subject and membership of a professional body e.g. CIOB, RICS
