I am looking to speak with Intermediate/Assistant Estimators who would be interested in joining a reputable main contractor based in Oxfordshire.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

Level 5 Construction Management // Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Surveying or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 2 years experience in construction estimating, preferably with a principal contractor.

Proficiency in construction estimating software will be an advantage.

Experienced in using Microsoft programs and software.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications

High attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates and documentation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, design teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, problem solve and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet challenging deadlines.

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and contracts (particularly the JCT Suite).

Experience with value engineering and cost optimisation strategies is a plus.

Professional certifications such as CIOB, RICS, or similar are desirable but not essential (subject to level of experience).
