Excellent client side opportunity for an Estates / Facilities Manager to oversee a single site in Birmingham. You will oversee total FM for the organisation, tenants and visitors. The site consists of corporate office space, meeting rooms, communal areas and cafe/restaurant.
Description
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the premises including oversight of property management and facility management, budgeting, and providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors. The Facilities Manager will lead the Facilities Management delivery for hard and soft services across the estate, whilst ensuring all health and safety and other compliance requirements are met.
As this is a new property you will be involved in the initial fitout and have the opportunity to shape how the building operates whilst implementing processes and procedures.
Roles & Responsibilities
Mobilise FM for the Property
Implement processes & procedures
Ensure building meets compliance regulations
Manage cleaning, security, property / grounds maintenance.
Supervise a small team of FM operatives
Liaise with tenants, employees and visitors to the site
Ensure the site is safe and fit for purpose
Profile
Excellent interpersonal skills and team leadership, including understanding how to create a strong, effective, and professional team.
Proven experience of Estate Management and Property Management
Budgeting and financial management skills
IOSH / NEBOSH certifications
Experience with real estate management software and tools
Strong organizational and project management skills
Flexible with the ability to prioritise effectively and to work in a fast-paced environment.Job Offer
