People Services Administrator
Location: Turnchapel, Plymouth. PL9 9XA
Salary: £22,760 - £23,543 (dependent on experience)
Contract type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full time, part time, flexible working. (37.50 hours are available) –
Cover is required until 5pm each working day.

St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth is seeking to appoint a highly accurate and proactive administrator to carry out all HR administrative duties that cover the complete employee life cycle.
About you:
The St Luke’s Hospice People Services Department is looking for a customer focused, proactive candidate with relevant experience of working in an office and carrying out a full range of administrative duties. You will bring the following skills and experience.

Excellent attention to detail, including written English including spelling, grammar, and numeracy.

Excellent IT skills, with good working knowledge of WORD, EXCEL

Experience of customer services and liaising with customers, clients and/or staff across a variety of channels.

Excellent administrative skills, accurate and efficient.

Experience and ability to work in a busy environment, working autonomously.

Experience of prioritising workload effectively with competing demands
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity within the People Services (HR) team at St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth. This role will report into the HR Manager and be part of a busy team who support staff and volunteers before and during their time with St Lukes. You will deliver a comprehensive and exceptional administrative service, including but not exclusively dealing with all aspects of recruitment, offer and contract paperwork, starter and leavers documentation, and payroll and pension processes, you will also have the opportunity to get out and about to raise the profile of St Lukes and represent at job and career fayres.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to hybrid work from home (agile/hybrid) however working onsite will be expected and encouraged to help build those all-important working relationships.
