First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focussed, organised Home Ownership Manager to join our friendly Income Collection team to effectively and efficiently manage and co-ordinate leasehold customer service provision on a permanent basis.
You will spend your time delivering and co-ordinating the delivery of high-quality day to day Home Ownership Services and investment works to past, prospective, and current right to buy/acquire applicants, leasehold customers, and others across FCHO with the support and direct line management responsibilities for a Home Ownership Officer and a Home Ownership Administrator. When you join our Income Collection team you will play a key role in supporting FCHO customers and identifying and collecting revenue due.

Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate:
Has knowledge of housing legislation and current housing issues including the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985, Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002 and Right To Buy legislation
Has knowledge of the Welfare Reform Act 2012
Has knowledge and experience of pre-court action protocol.
Has experience of working in a multi-agency environment providing services to the public.
Has experience of service user consultation and engagement.
Has experience of policy development and project management as well as providing policy advice to a variety of stakeholders on legislation, regulations, and best practice.
Has experience of budget management and income recovery procedures.
Has a relevant qualification in housing or a related subject (desirable)
Understands the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion and demonstrates this by treating colleagues and customers fairly and equitably
This role will be subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (known as a DBS check)
