Duties of the Ledger Manager:
Manage the European AP functions
Sign of supplier payments
Improvement of credit terms
Expenses management
Administration of letters of credit and import loans
Petty cash sign off
Timely close off of ledgers at month end
Credit applications
Implementation & improvement of AP document scanning
Manage the European AR functions
Escalation of debt collection – contact customers where appropriate
Sign off of debit notes / credit note requests
Customer credit assessments
Improve and maintain debt collection days
Validate rebate claims
Authorise bank charges
Oversee accurate posting of customer receipts
Provide forecasts of customer receipts and supplier payments
Manage invoice finance facility and complete monthly reconciliations.
Manage staff both on site and remotely
Develop KPIs and report on achievements
Contribute to and lead on process improvements
Agree inter-company balances
Align group processes and procedures
Other ad hoc reports/duties as required by the business
Person Specification:
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
Experience in SAP Business One
Use of SAP concur
Language skills an advantage though not essential especially French or Polish
Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a team
Project implementation
