Elevation HR are currently recruiting for a Learning and Development Busines Partner for a highly successful global manufacturing business. Reporting into the Head of Learning & OD you will be the interface between L&D and numerous business areas to embed the learning and development strategy and deliver a first class Learning & Development service.
The key responsibilities for the role include:
Supporting the Head of Learning & OD on the implementation and delivery of the L&D strategy across the company
Facilitate and analyse training needs, managing client and stakeholder communications and formulate training plans across multi business areas in the UK and Europe
Ensure Training Plans are fully integrated, in conjunction with the HR Business Partners
Recruit, mentor, develop, support and manage the L&D team
Research, develop, review and deliver practical leading-edge Learning and Development material and solutions
Review UK and Ireland learning material and processes, recommend and introduce a consistent Learning and Development system
Utilise blended learning solutions and external providers to create an effective learning suite which can be adapted to a variety of learning programmes across business divisions and countries – graduate, apprenticeship, sales, H&S, soft skills, management development, induction, systems, technical and specialist etc
Delivery of learning programmes
Identify champions across the business that can support the learning agenda – provide train the trainer development
Oversee Specialists and HR Business Partners to drive up line management capability and self-sufficiency
Ensure learning evaluation is embedded across the business to ensure a return on investment
Initiate and lead L&D projects to meet HR strategy
The successful candidate will demonstrable a track record in Learning & Development within the Manufacturing or Engineering sector. You must be able to show experience of:
Evaluating, designing and delivering business wide, leading edge, L&D programmes using blended learning solutions Leading, inspiring and developing a team
Use of innovative technologies and delivery mechanisms - (Intranet/Websites/Virtual Academies etc)
A proven track record of leading, planning and delivering learning and development projects
Demonstrates practical application of evaluation methods
Working with L&D metrics, KPI’s and budget
The role offers hybrid working, typically 2 days from home and there is an expectation of regular travel across sites
