PAM are a People First business, and we need a passionate People Experience Manager to drive and shape this agenda from the senior leadership team down. Reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD), this role is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of HR, contributing to the development and implementation of people strategies, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The People Experience Manager will work closely with the MD and senior leadership team, Communications Partner, People Coordinator, and central services teams to drive organizational success during a period of significant change.
PAM are part of Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland and is the premier supplier of ductile iron products and solutions to the UK's key utilities, telecoms, highways, civil engineering, and construction industries.
The role will be based at our new Saint-Gobain PAM's Head Office in Bilborough
This is a part time opportunity working 24 hours a week and can be worked on a hybrid basis.

Proven experience in a senior HR role or partnering with senior leaders
Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and navigate through periods of organizational change Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
What you will be doing:
The People Experience Manager will confidently support, coach and influence the new senior leadership team and imbed a robust and inclusive people strategy aligned to our values and policies.
Here are some of the Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement people plans aligned with the business strategy, focusing on talent management, succession planning, and creating a positive workplace culture.
Collaborate with the PAM Northern Europe and SG UK&I central services to ensure alignment with wider HR strategies.
Talent Attraction and Recruitment:
Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
Implement innovative recruitment strategies to address skills gaps and ensure a diverse and skilled workforce.
Employee Relations (ER) and Performance Management:
Support and coach managers through ER cases, ensuring alignment to our values and policies.(where escalated from the People Coordinator)
Liaison with GMB union officials and local reps and managing of yearly pay negotiations
Oversee performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and development plans.
Reward and Recognition:
Design and implement effective reward and recognition programs to motivate and retain employees.
Ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures aligned with business goals.
Coordinating monthly payroll, managing the annual and quarterly bonus schemes and any adhoc pay adjustments along side central Payroll team and People Coordinator
Learning and Development:
Drive the development of a learning culture, focusing on upskilling teams and developing digital skills.
Collaborate with leaders to identify training needs and implement effective learning and development initiatives.
Digital Solutions and Process Improvement:
Work with relevant stakeholders to identify digital solutions to streamline HR processes.
Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in HR operations.
Culture Building:
Drive initiatives to create and maintain a positive workplace culture aligned with the organization's values.
Implement and promote a coaching culture to foster employee growth and development.
Employee Experience:
Working closely with the Communications Partner, focus on enhancing the overall employee experience, ensuring a positive and engaging work environment.

This role is a part time opportunity, working 24 hours a week. While we envisage this to be spread over 3 days we can be flexible on the hours and working pattern to suit the right candidate
