With experience of commissioning a new care home, this varied and challenging role would suit a dynamic leader who can handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Inspire with Compassion: Lead and inspire our dedicated staff, fostering a culture of kindness and empathy.
Develop Your Team: Recruit, train, and retain a team of care professionals committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
Ensure Regulatory Excellence:Maintain full compliance with CQC and other regulatory standards, upholding the highest quality of care and support.
Financial Management: Oversee the home's budget, manage costs effectively, and achieve financial targets.
Drive Marketing & Occupancy: Implement strategic marketing plans to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services to potential residents and stakeholders.
Foster Stakeholder Relationships: Build and nurture positive relationships with residents, their families, and all stakeholders, proactively addressing their needs and concerns.
Oversee Administration: Ensure timely and efficient completion of all administrative tasks and maintain meticulous records.
Commit to Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the home's performance, identifying and implementing necessary improvements.
Manage Risks Proactively: Ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff by proactively managing and mitigating risks.
Skills and Attributes
Experience: Over 4 years of managing a nursing home, with a proven track record of working towards or achieving Outstanding CQC ratings.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
Business Acumen:Demonstrated success in marketing and managing a commercially successful care home within the private care sector.
Passion for Care: Deep enthusiasm and commitment to developing high-quality, person-centred care.
Growth-Oriented: Ability to contribute actively to the growth and development of the care service.
Education and Qualifications
NMC Registered Nurse: Essential with relevant post-registration experience.
Care Home Management:demonstrable hands-on experience in managing a care home (4 years +)
Experience of commisioning a new care home
