Astute Recruitment are working with a well established and respected company based near Nottingham who are seeking a detail orientated, motivated and driven Sales Ledger Administrator to join their finance team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes great pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and maintained

Process customer invoices and credit notes in a timely manner

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues

Monitor and chase outstanding debts, ensuring timely collection of payments

Prepare and distribute regular reports on sales ledger status and debtor balances

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations

Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations
Candidate Experience:

Proven experience in a sales ledger or similar financial administration role

Strong numerical and analytical skills
-
Excellent attention to detail

Experience with SAGE ideal but not essential

Able to demonstrate a ‘Team Player’ attitude, assisting colleagues when needed

Benefits and Hours:

Salary up to £23,700 depending on experience
