Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations for our client’s commercial office space.
The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of service, safety, and functionality for all occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily building operations, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained.
Oversee delivery of key services including Cleaning, M&E, Security, and Projects.
Act as the Health and Safety ambassador, ensuring a safe environment for all users.
Understand and exceed client requirements, contributing to customer goals.
Ensure compliance, audit site logbooks, and maintain CAFM systems.
Manage security protocols including 24-hour CCTV surveillance.
Utilise CAFM systems for efficient building management.
Maintain strong tenant relations, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
Conduct daily building inspections and communicate with clients to meet their needs.
Manage budgets and oversee building-related financial expenditures.
Supervise on-site staff, including reception and security personnel.
Manage on-site contractors to ensure timely, quality work completion.
Effectively manage staff rosters to minimise absences and ensure adequate coverage.
Liaise with external bodies for compliance and audit purposes.
Maintain financial systems, ensuring timely coding of invoices.
Set and manage the site budget.
Maintain a flexible approach to working hours as needed.
