If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client is seeking a dedicated Residential Team Leader to support the management and lead staff on shift.

We are looking for a devoted Team Leader to join our dynamic team and help us achieve this mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care.
Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for residents and staff.
Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
Monitor and document young people's progress, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Support effective multi-agency working and positive relationships with staff, the local community, local authorities, other professional agencies, and significant others involved in the young person's life.
Conduct training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Promote and encourage the participation of young people in the decision-making process of the home and the wider community, and assist in seeking information and advice from appropriate sources.
Adhere to the company’s Safeguarding Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a setting supporting young people.
Hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Strong motivational, management, and leadership potential. Ability to supervise, support, and develop Residential Support Workers to create a cohesive team.
Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children’s home regulations, and quality standards.
Experience working directly with young people exhibiting challenging behavior.
Ability to relate to young people with empathy and a commitment to high standards of child care, aiming for the best outcomes for the young people in your care.
