J3A are proud to be supporting a serious player in the water & construction game. With recent wins for upcoming works on AMP 8, they are heavily recruiting in various areas of their business.
They are now looking for an experienced Pre Construction Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role to lead with tenders on the Framework. The right person will take full responsibility for projects from inception through to contract award stage.
As Pre Construction Manager, you will be;
- Liaising with the Estimating Team to ensure timeframes are achieved
- Take the lead on tenders with the SWW representatives establishing win strategies and key client drivers for selection.
- Lead in tender bid settlements
- Work within a small pre-construction team based within the SWW Framework Team
- Liaising with other teams – Managing Estimator & Estimating team, Construction delivery teams, Design Managers, Planning Manager.
To be successful as their Pre Construction Manager, you will need the following;
- Extensive site experience, comprehensive pre-construction experience – bid writing/ submissions.
- Previous experience in Pre Construction or similar
- Tier 1 Contractor experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience on water frameworks is a must
- Engineering/ Construction Management background.
- BSc Hons in construction related subject (Desirable).
- Safety training – SMSTS (Desirable)
