Are you a Supported Living Manager working in care services and looking for a role in Redhill, Surrey area? The service provides care to those with Learning Disabilities, Autism and other complex needs. It's a busy and demanding role and comes with a salary up to £33,000 a year.
As a Support Living Manager you will play a pivotal part in ensuring you and your Team can help the residents they support to live a better life.
Amongst diverse duties, the main areas of activity in this Supported Living Manager job include:
. Manage all aspects of staff activity, including recruitment, supervision, development and training
. Work with the Head Office functional teams and Group Manager to ensure compliance with all regulations
. Maintaining the day to day running of the care service
. Supporting people with all aspects of their agreed support plan and risk management plans
. Maintaining records including people's files and financial records
. Coach your staff, so they understand how to provide high quality, person-active care and support.
The successful Supported Living Manager candidate will have:
. NVQ 4/RMA/LMSC/Diploma 5 in care or equivalent
. QCF4/RMA
. Working with adults with learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, autism and epilepsy and/or mental ill health
. Working within the standards as defined in the Care Act
. Recruiting, managing, supporting, motivating and developing staff
. Rota management and staffing solutions
. Supervising and appraising staff, and carrying out induction
. Working in partnership with, colleagues, support services, families and stakeholders.
. Managing a budget, resources and expenditure within a commercial setting
. Lone working
. Assessing and managing risk within a care environment
