Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Product Development Manager to be based in Colchester.
Main responsibilities will be involved in the end-to-end responsibility for development of new products and systems to expand the companies range of equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Researching and understanding applicable technologies

Understanding appropriate British Standards and applying to the design process.

Detailed design and prototyping of products
-
Operational testing
-
Selecting third party solutions and suppliers where necessary, to create a complete product offering.

Production of documentation, including O&Ms, assembly manuals, drawings.

Providing input to marketing and launch of product where required.

Becoming the internal subject matter expert on technical aspects of the company’s product range.
Skills, experience & Knowledge

Be degree qualified in an engineering subject

Have experience of product design and development in an industrial environment

Be able to draw on external resources and identify suppliers where required

Have experience of sheet metal design
-
Be able to show experience in a closely related field – HVAC/Fan systems/Industrial filtration or a comparable industry.

Be experienced with either Inventor or SolidWorks.
Due to company’s location the successful candidate must have their own mode of transport.
In return the company is offering a competitive salary of £55,000 (DOE) with performance related bonus.
