We are dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and are seeking a talented Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in drylining and SFS frame projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring the financial success of our projects. You will work closely with our project managers, clients, and suppliers to deliver cost-effective solutions and maintain our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for drylining and SFS frame projects.
Analyse and evaluate tender documents and specifications.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within agreed limits.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely valuations, variations, and final accounts.
Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Provide financial advice and support to the project team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, specifically in drylining and SFS frame projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
