ICT Support Officer - £30,000 - Leamington Spa (fully onsite)
Are you looking to make a significant impact? An exciting new role has opened for an ICT Support Officer within a thriving Business Support Department. This position, primarily based at our Leamington office, offers the chance to provide vital ICT support across five offices in Warwickshire.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and Administration:
Serve as the first and second line of ICT support for all staff, resolving issues efficiently and escalating when necessary.
Assist employees with their daily operations, ensuring all required tools and services are available for optimal performance.
Provide training, including induction for new starters, to help staff maximise the use of ICT systems.
Manage and administer the company's servers, desktops, laptops, telephony services, and network infrastructure as needed.
Develop expertise to enhance support delivery and system management.Technical Troubleshooting:
Resolve hardware issues with desktops, laptops, peripherals, and printers to minimise user disruption.
Conduct network administration and troubleshooting.
Communicate effectively with end users, both on-site and remotely, to address their needs.
Liaise with third-party support teams and consultants.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an ICT role providing first and second line support.
Relevant ICT qualification.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Demonstrable experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Proficiency with Windows 10, Windows Server, RDS, TCP/IP, DNS, and Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMWare).
Experience with Office 365 administration and PowerShell.
Familiarity with structured cabling and hardware setup is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
Enthusiasm for learning new skills and developing existing knowledge.
Personal qualities of loyalty and discretion.
