Quality Inspector
Full- time, Permanent
Rotating fortnightly shifts: 37hrs per week, 4 day week:
Monday to Thursday: 06:00am -3:45pm / 3:45pm - 1:30am
I am working with a well-respected engineering business who supply precision parts to the aerospace and defence sectors.
They are currently now looking for a Quality Inspector to join the business. You will possess an in-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards.
You will inspect in-process and finished product to ensure compliance to drawing specifications and customer requirements. Provide aid to the manufacturing to ensure quality product is being produced.

Key responsibilities and Accountabilities includes
Read and interpret customer engineering drawings.
Use standard metrology techniques: Hand gauges / 1st Principal techniques.
CMM experience (PCDmis preferred) Operate (program).
Apply GD&T inspection methods.
Inspect tight tolerance parts, both assembled & machined.
Record and communicate information effectively.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Manage and control calibration equipment.
Perform any other general quality duties asked.

Essential Skills and Qualification
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an aerospace/ precision quality engineering environment.
Experience operating a CMM machinery (PcDmis preferred)
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
