Position Overview:
They're seeking a talented and experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a key member of thier Building Services division, you will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of cutting-edge mechanical systems for high-profile residential and education projects. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your technical prowess and contribute to the creation of iconic structures that shape communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical design process from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Undertake detailed calculations and simulations to optimize the performance and efficiency of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical solutions seamlessly into building designs.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical design engineering, driving innovation and efficiency in our projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Masters degree preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering mechanical design solutions for large-scale residential and education buildings.
- Strong proficiency in engineering calculations and simulations, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Extensive experience with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is advantageous.
