Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a “Good” school in the Aylesbury area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young children. However, unquailed and general teaching assistants are welcome to apply.

The role:
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that align with our educational philosophy
Provide individual support to children, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs and interests
Ensure the safety and well-being of the children during classroom activities and outdoor exploration
Assist in the creation and organisation of stimulating learning environments, incorporating natural elements
Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records and communicating with the teaching team
Foster positive behaviour and social skills, encouraging a sense of belonging and cooperation
The ideal candidate:
Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a Primary School setting is desirable
Familiarity with the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 framework
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to create a supportive learning environment
Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
