Progress Teachers are currently supporting a Mainstream Leicester Secondary School to appoint a Cover Supervisor for a permanent, full-time role.
The successful candidate will form an integral part of the School's cover team, providing in-house cover support across a range of subjects during periods of staff absence.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Supervision: Effectively manage classrooms in the absence teachers, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.

Lesson Delivery: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students, maintaining the continuity of learning and following school policies.

Behaviour Management: Implement the school's behaviour management policies to promote a safe and respectful atmosphere for students.

Supportive Role: Offer support to individual students or small groups as needed, ensuring that the learning objectives are met.

Communication: Maintain clear communication with teaching staff regarding student progress, behaviour, and any issues that may arise during the day.

Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and reporting any incidents or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a subject-specific field is advantageous.

Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
