Our client has recently received Ofsted registration for a beautiful children's residential care home set in a stunning location. They are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and manage this new service, which provides a warm and supportive environment for three children. The Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for the children. You will play a crucial role in the development and success of this new service, fostering a positive environment for both the children and the staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of residential support workers.
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children.
Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to uphold high standards of care.
Promote continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in a leadership role within a children's residential care setting.
In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
Relevant qualifications in children's social care (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent).
