Conveyancing Assistant - Huntingdon - 22-26k
Role: Conveyancing Assistant (Mat Cover with potential to extend to permanent)
ALH Recruitment are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to step into an exciting opportunity with a leading client of ours.
Main Purpose:
To assist in the smooth running of the Conveyancing Department by providing administrative and legal support.
Main Duties include:

Opening new files and inputting instructions into the Case Management system

Updating the Case Management system as the matter progresses

Assisting in issuing contracts and managing replies to enquiries
-
Handling exchanges and related paperwork
-
Facilitating completions
-
Issuing mortgage reports
-
Engaging in various administrative tasks including filing, billing, faxing, photocopying and archiving
Successful Candidates will have:
-
At least 12 months’ experience within conveyancing and have a strong desire to pursue this in your next position.

Proficient IT skills, strong literacy and numeracy skills

Effective customer-friendly communication

The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

Flexibility and adaptability
-
Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team

Prior experience in a similar role
Working hours:
- Full time or Part time (minimum of 3 days to include a Wednesday)
