Job Title: Export Manager (Remote, North African Region)

Specializing in Monomer Chemistry, they sell across a broad geographical region to blenders/formulators and end-consumers. While primarily focused on the European market, the company has ambitious plans to expand sales in the Middle East, Africa, Americas, and Asia. Their success is rooted in developing outstanding relationships with both suppliers and customers.
Role Description: The role of Export Manager is crucial in helping develop the Sales Team to achieve its business plan in sales and margin. The Export Manager will have overall responsibility for maintaining and increasing sales within their region, often through direct relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship management skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-growing trading environment. They should also be highly effective in influencing and negotiating.
This position is fully remote, and the candidate should be based close to the North African region.
Responsibilities:

Implement and deliver an annual sales plan for the assigned region.

Assist the Sales Team to deliver and exceed target volumes and margins.

Build effective sales and account management processes.

Establish, maintain, and expand the customer base in the territory.

Build productive, long-lasting relationships with customers.

Grow the product portfolio in line with customer and market opportunities.

Visit customers regularly to meet set targets and objectives.

Increase business opportunities and build volumes/contracts with every customer.

Produce an accurate and deliverable monthly sales forecast for the region.

Share valuable information and knowledge where commercial opportunities are identified.
Essential Experience Required:

Experience with Formula contracts including feedstock and market elements.

Product knowledge within the chemical industry.

Fluency in foreign languages.

Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.

Geographical market coverage, particularly in the North African region.
Desirable Experience:
- Sales experience in the chemical industry selling into coatings, paints, adhesives, and associated applications for monomers, including acrylates, methacrylates, VAM, Veova, styrene, and specialty methacrylates.
